Coaching Licenses

Did you know that Sozo FC generously covers the expenses for coach licensing programs? That's right! Additionally, US Soccer provides Grassroots classes for free, making them easily accessible and user-friendly online. However, coaches are required to remain with the club for at least 24 months after obtaining a new license, or they will be required to reimburse Sozo for the license fee.

Sozo is committed to supporting its coaches because, according to US Soccer statistics, there is a significant shortage of licensed coaches in the country. With 15 million soccer players nationwide, the player-to-coach ratios are 5,000:1 for A License, 2,727:1 for B License, and 250:1 for F License.

These figures underscore the difficulties players face in obtaining the best development opportunities. Sozo FC aims to compete with top teams in the west coast region, and this begins with coaching education!
